BioMar’s main product lines for the most cost efficient production of salmon are:

• Ecostart feeds are formulated for the healthy production of salmon smolts in freshwater. Starting from the smallest feeds that are crumbs, the range quickly progresses to small pellets. The combination of highly digestible raw materials with excellent physical quality ensures fast growth with minimal waste to the environment. Phosphorous levels are tightly formulated which results in healthy development whilst minimising phosphorous discharge.

• Bio-Optimal CPK is designed for feeding parr in freshwater and salmon up to 1 kg in seawater. Through supplying high levels of specific fatty acids and amino acids, high growth rates can be achieved without compromising healthy development.

• Bio-Optimal CPK+ is for periods of high stress when salmon can be particularly vulnerable to disease. In addition to the features of Bio-Optimal CPK, CPK+ contains boosted levels of vitamins C and E, glucans and nucleotides which together result in a strengthened immune system. CPK+ is particularly recommended for use pre and post seawater transfer.

• Ecolife HR is formulated to achieve an FCR of 1.05 whilst giving excellent salmon flesh quality.
